Our Team
Lauren Kwedar Cockerell
President
Lauren is founder and president of Kwedar & Co. and the host of The Impatient Entrepreneur podcast. In addition to leading K&Co., Lauren serves on the Fort Worth Chamber’s Board of Directors, and she is the immediate past Board Chair of the Foundation for the Young Women’s Leadership Academy of Fort Worth. She is also an EO Fort Worth Accelerator participant. Lauren earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in business administration from Rhodes College in Memphis, Tenn. P.S. if you're wondering how to pronounce "Kwēdar", think "queen".
D’Arla Tyler
Director of PR & Client Services
In coordination with the rest of Kwedar & Co.’s talented team, D’Arla works to develop and deliver targeted PR strategies tailored to meet the unique goals of each client, while serving as a liaison supporting client needs. She and Lauren were colleagues at Fort Worth’s Paige Hendricks Public Relations Inc., to which D’Arla credits her PR foundation. She has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Broadcast Journalism from the University of North Texas and lives just south of the DFW area with her husband and two daughters.
Jessica Pickard
Operations & Project Manager
Jessica leads Kwedar & Co. operational and project excellence, supporting client and business needs. Jessica has a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Management from Murray State University. She is based in Kentucky.
Callie Ward
Digital Marketing Manager
Callie is our Digital Marketing Manager, serving our clients through creative and strategic digital content creation. She graduated from Tarleton State University with a Bachelor of Science in Communication Studies with an emphasis in Public Relations. Callie lives in Fort Worth, TX.
Elizabeth Menes
Lead Writer
Elizabeth is one of our wonderful writers, helping us with short and long-form content pieces. She also supports our research and analysis efforts, helping to make complex ideas easy to understand. Elizabeth has a Bachelor of Arts from Harvard, after which she lived in LA working as a story analyst. Elizabeth now resides in Fort Worth, and she runs a business of her own in addition to her work with Kwedar & Co.
Susan Pettit
PR Specialist
With 17 years of PR and marketing experience, Susan specializes in media relations for our wide range of clients. She and Lauren first worked together at Fort Worth’s Paige Hendricks Public Relations Inc. Susan has a Bachelor of Science degree in Journalism from Texas Christian University and currently lives in DFW with her husband, daughter, and two golden retrievers.
Christina Berger
Senior Copywriter
With a knack for crafting compelling stories and a passion for creativity, Christina brings a wealth of talent and experience to the table for our clients. As Senior Copywriter, Christina will play a big role in developing impactful content for our clients, bringing their stories to life through engaging and strategic writing.
Christina graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in International Communications from Texas A&M University and has since gained nine years of experience in marketing and communications roles across various industries, including an agency, nonprofit, and healthcare institution. Christina moseys around her hometown of good ol’ Fort Worth, Texas with her pup, Hazel, barking at her side.
Tatiana Ferraez
Executive Assistant
With a robust background in administration, HR, logistics, and operations, Tatiana excels at solving problems and streamlining processes, benefiting both Kwedar & Co. and our clients alike. Her dedication to helping others and providing top-notch service makes her a perfect fit for our team.
As our Executive Assistant, Tatiana will be supporting our team with various administrative tasks and working tirelessly to tighten up our processes. She’s already made a fantastic impression with her efficiency and proactive approach.
Tatiana works from her home in the beautiful city of Mérida, Mexico.
Peyton Sides
Digital Marketing and Public Relations Intern
As our business continues to grow, so has the need for additional support to keep projects running smoothly for our digital marketing and public relations clients. That’s where Peyton comes in!
As our Digital Marketing and Public Relations Intern, Peyton helps our team with ongoing content creation, public relations research, and communication support.
Peyton is set to graduate from Tarleton State University this May with a Bachelor of Science in Communication Studies, with special focus on Public Relations and Social Engagement, and a minor in Business. Originally from Fort Worth, Peyton now lives in Stephenville, Texas with her basset hound puppy, Fancy Nancy.
